Express Entry
Express Entry is a selection system that provides pathways to permanent residence for skilled workers in Canada or overseas. Express Entry offers fast processing time of six months or less.
IMMIGRATE THROUGH THE
Federal Skilled Worker Program
The Federal Skilled Worker Program is for skilled workers who have work experience and want to become permanent residents.
- With skilled work experience in one of the National Occupation CLassification (NOC) TEER categories 0,1,2,3
- With a Canadian diploma, certificate, or credential AND/OR a foreign educational credential, and an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) by an agency approved by IRCC to show it is equal to a completed Canadian secondary or post-secondary educational credential.
- Take approved language tests in English or French, and meet the minimum score required in all 4 abilities. Your test result must be valid on the day you apply for permanent residence.
- You must show that you have enough money for you and your family to settle unless you are currently able to legally work in Canada or have a valid job offer from an employer in Canada.
- You must be admissible in Canada.
IMMIGRATE THROUGH THE
Federal Skilled Trade Program
The Federal Skilled Trades (FST) program is one of the three federal immigration programs managed by the Express Entry system. As with all Express Entry programs, FST uses the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) to rank interested candidates against one another, only inviting the most competitive candidates to apply for Canadian permanent residence.
- Must have at least 2 years of full-time work experience (or an equal amount of part-time work experience) in a skilled trade within the 5 years before you apply
- Must have a valid job offer for full-time employment for a total period of at least 1 year or with a certificate of qualification in your skilled trade issued by a Canadian authority
- Take approved language tests in English or French, and meet the minimum score required in all 4 abilities. Your test result must be valid on the day you apply for permanent residence.
- You must show that you have enough money for you and your family to settle unless you are currently able to legally work in Canada or have a valid job offer from an employer in Canada.
- There is no education requirement for the FST, however, it can help you top up your score in the Express Entry
- You must be admissible in Canada.
IMMIGRATE THROUGH THE
Canadian Experience Class
The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) program is ideal for candidates who have recent Canadian work experience and want to become a permanent resident!
- Have at least 1 year of skilled work experience (TEER 0,1,2,3) in Canada (or an equal amount of part-time work experience) in the 3 years before you apply.
- Take approved language tests in English or French, and meet the minimum score required in all 4 abilities. Your test result must be valid on the day you apply for permanent residence.
- There is no education requirement for the FST, however, it can help you top up your score in the Express Entry.
- You must be admissible in Canada.
